- Race Office: Wednesday 4 September 10am – 3pm or Thursday 5 September 6am – 7:30am
- Event Village: Friday 7 September 12pm – 5pm or Saturday 8 September 9am – 3pm. There will be no vehicle access to the event village after 3pm Saturday. You may bump in Sunday morning before 6am if you will be on foot.
- 5km Start Line Hercules Park: Saturday 8 September 10am – 12pm
- On course: Sunday 8 September as directed by event staff
Bump out: Sunday 8 September after 12:00pm or as directed by event staff. Please do not bump out early without speaking to event staff. No vehicle access to the venue without permission from event staff.

Vehicle Details
- If you are only dropping off equipment using a vehicles this will need to be included in the activation form below.
- Please phone the venue manager 0407 113 002 when you arrive on site.
- Please drive at walking pace (5km/hr) with hazard lights on and one of your team walking in front of the vehicle as a spotter
- Vehicles MUST NOT drive on the grass
- If the vehicle is remaining on site as part of the activation, a drip tray must be used and provided by you
Race Office: Vehicle access will be roller door into John Reid Pavilion via Gregory Terrace
Event Village: Vehicle access will be via Gate 5, off O’Connell Terrace
Site Rules
- Please ensure that public safety is paramount at all times
- Any marquees self-erected on site must have enough weights in place for safety. Pegging into the grassed area or tying off surrounds objects is NOT allowed. If marquees are not secured, event organisers will ask for them to be removed. If you do not have weights, please contact the event organisers to arrange hire of weights by 9 August.
- You are responsible for providing your own electrical leads and ensuring they have up to date test and tagging compliance. Power will only be available to those who have requested and pre-arranged with the event organisers by 9 August.
- Security will be onsite overnight, however, we take no responsibility for any property left on the premises
- Please ensure where possible you practice the best environmentally sustainable practices with reducing waste, reusing where possible and recycling recyclable produces into the recycling bins
- Please ensure your activation team bring their own reusable water bottles, there will be a Hydration Station available in the venue
- Please ensure you provide appropriate safety items for your activation staff including sunscreen, hats, ponchos, hand sanitiser, masks, etc
- When bumping out it is your responsibility to ensure that all equipment used is packed away and rubbish is disposed of in the appropriate manner
- Catering rights are strictly maintained by RNA Showgrounds. No external catering of any kind is permitted on site unless it has been registered with RNA in advance.

Course
Safety Information
Medical
- Medical staff will be onsite during the Event Day activities. Should your staff or any participants require medical assistance please report to the 1300Medics tent or advise one of the EMS Australia staff.
- You can also call the medical hotline which is: 0421 003 720
- In the event of an emergency, always call 000
- If you need medical assistance outside during bump in please contact the venue manager or if it’s an emergency please call 000.
Suspicious Behaviour
- In the unlikely event of any suspicious behaviour please alert EMS Australia team as soon as possible or the nearest security team member.
- Suspicious behaviour can be from the participants or the general public, and can be anything from a bag or backpack left unattended or wearing a large jacket in warm weather or even a person acting irritated.
- If you find an unattended bag/backpack
- Ask if anyone owns it
- If no one does, do not touch it
- Alert others to keep away
- Contact the venue coordinator as soon as possible and they will alert the appropriate people.

Please follow the link and instructions below to complete the 2024 RNA Events General Safety Induction. This needs to be completed by all contractors, event organisers, exhibitors, associated crew and volunteers prior to coming onsite.
